Role description: 

  • Coordinate and carry out a range of administration and production activities to support the production of high-quality pursuits.
  • Manage simple proposals with a low number of interfaces under Local Approval governance.
  • Individually manage pursuits with an indicative value of €500k 

Role accountabilities: 

Key Accountabilities

  • Support Pursuit Leaders in developing pursuits during the Market to Opportunity (MtO) and Pursuit to Win (PtW) phases by collaborating with stakeholders and completing a range of tasks.
  • Support APCs in carrying out their duties.
  • Provide daily advice and guidance to bid team members, sharing best practices and ensuring the bidding process is followed.

Market to Opportunity (MtO)

  • Create/manage the bid management SharePoint Site (collaboration hub).
  • Set up meetings (e.g., MORE sessions, storyboarding, risk reviews, pricing/commercials, contract/legal reviews).
  • Attend MORE sessions to capture actions and intelligence.
  • Schedule catch-ups and formal meetings.
  • Support Pursuit Leader in completing MtO actions.
  • Conduct research and collate material to complete MtO actions.
  • Monitor client portals for PIN/document release.
  • Ensure accurate entry for opportunities in OSC.

Pursuit to Win (PtW)

  • Support Pursuit Leader in setting up and maintaining the pursuit plan (programme, leave chart, compliance matrix, etc.).
  • Share all incoming documents.
  • Ensure pursuit team is aware of all TQs issued and replies (TQ submission and receipt managed by GSSC).
  • Schedule bid team meetings (e.g., Pens Down, Bid Reviews).
  • Produce documents, presentations, and materials to a clear brief using standard formats and software.
  • Collate corporate information for PQQ submissions.
  • Conduct formatting and consistency checks.
  • Maintain pursuit plan (deliverable list, actions, etc.).
  • Set up templates and response frameworks.
  • Complete standard company information inputs.
  • Ensure all documents are finalized and submitted correctly for submission.
  • Check PQQ information prepared by Level 4 & 5 for accuracy.
  • Perform compliance and completion checks for bid documents to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Liaise daily with GEC GSSC team supporting the pursuit.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the bid process.
  • Support answer planning sessions and documentation.
  • Review and compile team inputs for response documents.
  • Prepare non-technical components of pursuit documents to ensure accuracy and high quality.

  • Produce pursuit and proposal documentation formatted, collated, and presented professionally.
  • Demonstrate proactive, hardworking, and motivated behavior with a positive attitude towards role and development.
  • Exhibit strong planning, organizational, time-management, and self-management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Communicate with a wide range of colleagues in delivering MtO and PtW activities.
  • Prioritize and organize own workload while coordinating delivery of the pursuit program by others.
  • Coordinate and direct GSSC in creating and developing class-leading MS templates for the wider business.

Qualifications & Experience: 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience in Pursuit Coordination or Project Management.
  • Aptitude for learning InDesign.
  • Knowledge of MtO and PtW processes and tools.
  • 4+ years’ relevant experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or vocational equivalent.
  • APMP Foundation
