Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our team in Sheffield, United Kingdom. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in their homes.

  • Oversee and support a team of care workers, ensuring they provide excellent care to service users
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and comply with care standards
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to coordinate care services
  • Manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient resource allocation
  • Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals, identifying training needs and supporting professional development
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services and organisational processes
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above
  • Proven experience in care supervision or management within a domiciliary care setting
  • Strong knowledge of care standards, regulations, and best practices in the field
  • Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in care planning and assessment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care delivery
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry trends
