Job Description
The ASU Knowledge Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented and communicative individual to join its Research Compliance organization at Arizona State University (ASU). As a Management Intern, you will contribute to a culture of compliance by providing professional level administrative support to an assigned Department, assisting with general administration projects, research and analysis, procedural studies, and technical planning. You will collaborate with assigned senior staff members in order to gain working knowledge and experience related to department administration. The ideal candidate should be proactive, a willingness to research and learn policies and procedures, and an interest in advancing the university knowledge base.
Essential Duties
Serves in an intern capacity for a specified division or program,
which may include the following duties and responsibilities:
Performs tasks related to specific function/program assigned, such as tracking event attendance, development of brochures or other unique projects.
Provides regulatory support for processing of compliance actions.
Conducts independent research of administrative or operational areas specific to the area of assignment.
Assembles and analyzes data and makes interpretations under direction of senior staff for application to area of assignment.
Assists in development of new programs, policies, or procedures; coordinates programs as assigned.
Assists in specialized administrative or technical projects in area of assignment.
Analyzes procedures and makes recommendations for improvement.
Maintains records, databases and prepares reports as needed.
Areas of duties and responsibilities may include the following:
o General Administration Academic and Student Services.
o Business Office Development Event Staging.
o Marketing and Promotions Media Relations Operations.
o Special Projects Data Analysis Report Development.
o Works with supervisors to prioritize and manage time.
o Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Environment:
- Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position.
- Constantly detects and operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Ability to clearly communicate and exchange accurate information to perform essential duties.
- Expected to be responsive to customers, engaged in work production, resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.
