Responsible for assisting the department’s growth in and around the Bank's general lending area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and executing department plans and initiatives as directed by Management.
- Recruit new team of professional Mortgage Loan Officers (“MLO’s”) within the designated footprint.
- Monitor and review pipeline / volume reports.
- Recommend new initiatives and sales techniques to drive volume and year-over-year production.
- Develop and expand market relationships to further promote the organization and enhance recruiting.
- Assists in mentoring and training of MLO’S including loan operating system (“LOS”) and price and program engine (“PPE”).
- Responsible for MLO coaching including marketing efforts, self-sourcing activities and social media presence.
- Assist in the department’s administration to include but not limited to interacting with secondary lending partners, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Participation in events, associations, chambers and other organizations to promote the Bank.
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 8 – 10 years of related experience required.
- Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (“NMLS”) registration required.
- Extensive recruiting experience.
- Previous experience managing and training sales people.
- Thorough working knowledge of Residential and Consumer lending programs and policies.
- High level of proficiency with mortgage loan processing and underwriting systems. Pricing engines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Acute attention to detail

COMPENSATION: $65,000 to $85,000 annually, plus commission and car allowance.
