Location: Columbus, OH (On-site at Supplier’s Warehouse)
Position Summary:
The 3PL Onsite Lead ensures that inventory is accurately maintained and distributed in a compliant, timely, and efficient manner. Primary areas of focus are on monitoring, reporting and enhancing performance through key operational metrics and face-to-face supplier relationship management. Stationed onsite at the supplier’s warehouse, the role will be actively engaged with the warehouse staff to drive continuous improvement across distribution activities including but not limited to dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and OTIF. The Lead will collaborate with Supply Chain team members to identify opportunities and provide lasting improvements for all of the supplier’s processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the onsite point of contact for Galderma and work closely with the supplier’s warehouse team to ensure performance targets are met.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communication between internal teams and the supplier. Observe and collaborate with the supplier to improve processes related to inventory, order picking, order shipping, and other distribution activities.
- Resolve any distribution issues or delays in collaboration with the supplier.
- Track and report KPIs including inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, and order accuracy; identify trends and root causes of performance gaps and help develop corrective actions.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve inventory and distribution performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategi logistics initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the fields of Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Distribution required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Must be proficient with MS office software (e.g., Excel, Word) and have experience with reporting tools.
- Experience in ERP / WMS systems; Oracle experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and Management.
- Ability to work independently and manage onsite relationships effectively.
