Sheetmetal Brakes Team Leader 2
In our continuously improving culture, we are posting an internal opening position for a
Medium Line Team Leader. This will allow employees to consider new career development
opportunities and growth within the company. The position will be open for an internal move,
allow you an opportunity to continue developing yourself professionally.
The Sheetmetal Brakes hours are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, plus overtime as-required.
$25.65 an hour
Applicants
must have at least 6 months of internal experience to apply. An interview schedule will be
announced for all qualified candidates.
Functions include:
● Responsible for delivering safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics for assigned
area.● Perform safety/CAL investigations and report on findings andcountermeasures.
● Execute standard work development and audits.
● Communicate key issues and provide day-to-day coaching of operators.
● Act as the first step in the help chain.
● Focus on developing line operators.
● Provide daily documentation of key metrics and information.
Qualifications required include:
● Proven leadership capabilities.
● Ability to reinforce accountability and ownership through improved
employee relations.
● Understanding of lean tools and the continuous improvement effort, problem
solving and standardized work.
● Ability to plan, organize and schedule multiple processes to meet
demand. ● Ability to lead by example and make timely business decisions.
● Continuing education or other form of leadership development is
recommended. ● Proficient with technology (SAP, Google, ADP, Kronos)
