• Conducting infection control awareness program and observe HIC week and world hand washing day
etc.
• Participating in competency assessment for RN’s along with the Nurse Educator.
• Being a part of the team in the editorial and publication in Nursing (Journals, Newspapers, Nursing
Clinical Practice Manual etc.)
• Participating in planning, conducting and evaluating the short-term courses in Nursing
• Conducting nursing care audits based on Standard Operating Procedures developed at the Nursing
Department and that of HOSPITAL
• Involving in measuring, analyzing and interpreting quality indicators, and developing action plan to
reach the set target.
• Contributing as a committee member in HIC committee and other assigned committees of the Nursing
Department and HOSPITAL.
• Balancing between quality sustenance and cost cutting as a part of hospital lean management and
efficiency evaluation - bring innovative approaches for HIC practices that contain cost for hospital and
minimize cost for patients.
• Maintaining appropriate feedback system both vertical and horizontal without disturbing the morale of
the individuals and educate them on the same.
• Liaising with consultants and heads of other departments for effective implementation of patient care
and minimizing errors of omission and commission.
• Maintaining relevant documents and adherence to established reporting system.
• Periodically updating knowledge on clinical and administrative areas, translating them at the bed side
and participating in their continuing nursing education.

• Always Maintaining professional decorum and serving as a role model to their staff and branding both
the organization and the nursing profession.
