Overview: This full time (standard of 40 hours per week) exempt-level position provides Human Resources Generalist support, including payroll, benefits and recruitment management, as well as the ongoing support and development of a quality workforce. This is a one-person department, with dotted line accountability to Corporate Office in Overland Park, KS.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties are determined by the Company’s needs and may include, but are not limited to, the following,
- Manages and processes bi-weekly payroll
- Assists with the development and implementation of services, policies, programs and training for staff
- Assists community directors and staff with all Human Resources related issues
- Manages the back end Talent Acquisition process and staffing function
- Assists with front end Talent Acquisition Process as needed
- Communicates and monitors the performance evaluation process for employees
- Processes FMLA and other leaves of absence requests, including ADA accommodations. ED submits work comp claims
- Administers employee benefits plans; reviews monthly billings for accuracy
- Provide high level of communication and oversight over the community schedule and ensure shifts are staffed appropriately especially during unpredictable schedule changes that may occur.
- Responsible for scheduling CNA and CMA roles within budgetary guidelines for the community to ensure 5-star quality of care for the residents and minimum regulatory requirements are met.
- Maintains inventory of all nursing supplies
- Reports to and collaborates with Executive Director on team goals, development, and initiatives
- Responsible for uploading medical records, and admission documents. Monitors timeliness of PCC documents and works with Clinical Director to ensure current documents.

- Must be able to work under pressure and with interruptions
- Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and be an independent, accountable, dependable performer
- Effective planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly
- May be required to work occasional extended and/or weekend hours, rotating holidays with management team members
- Available for MOD and On-Call rotation as agreed upon

- Provides proper notice in advance of absence whenever

- Occasional travel to other Communities and/or corporate office may be required

Qualifications
Qualifications: Post-secondary education, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources Management or Business, and/or a minimum of 2 years’ broad HR experience. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CPP would be a plus. Computer literacy with Microsoft products as well as HRIS advanced user skills; Paycom experience much preferred.
