Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Transportation Driver to support our Walnut team. This role will be responsible for driving 53 foot tractor trailers to make local deliveries up to a 275 mile radius of predominantly finished products or raw materials/ supplies to company distribution and manufacturing centers, obtains proper authorization for all deliveries and pickups, inspects vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip, and maintain a DOT driver's log and adhere to all DOT regulations. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, who is self driven and detailed oriented. Additional responsibilities will include:
- Deliver finished products or raw materials to assigned destination
- Ensure safety and compliance on every load
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Maintain DOT driver log and other required transport documentation
- Complete pre and post inspections
Requirements:
- Must be located in Walnut, CA surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years or older
- Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road Test
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Follow DOT Regulations
- Willing to work 12 hour days
- Willing to work 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM Tuesdays to Saturdays
- Have at least one year of experience driving 53 foot trailers
