Yard Porter Responsibilities
As a Yard Porter with WCTractor, you will play an important role customers' first impression of your assigned location maintaining the cleanliness and order of equipment inventory and facilities. You will works closely with your store manager and spend your days maintaining the facilities as well as moving equipment and displays throughout the store.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the hands-on hero who keeps the yard looking sharp and equipment moving safely and efficiently. Every day will be a little different, but here’s the general game plan:

Check and move equipment (tractors, implements, attachments, trailers, etc.)

Load/unload and stage equipment for delivery or display

Keep the yard, wash area, and displays clean and organized

Support service and parts departments as needed

Input and track inventory or transfers in CDK (don’t worry, we’ll train you)

Perform light maintenance tasks—mowing, trimming, or general upkeep

Be a friendly face representing WCTractor’s professionalism and pride
Yard Porter Qualifications
What We’re Looking For

Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented

Team player with strong communication and a selfless, “pitch-in” mentality

Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
-
Familiarity with tractors, equipment, or machinery is a big plus

Basic computer/data entry skills
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day

Valid driver’s license (clean record preferred)
