Manufacturing Utility Technician -1st Shift at Harvey Performance Company

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Utility Technician to join our team in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This role is key to keeping our production moving. You’ll be hands-on with a variety of machines and processes, supporting everything from brazing and polishing to shipping and materials handling. You’ll move between departments based on business needs, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and learning new skills.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including braze, buffing, ping test, and hubbing machines.
• Support manufacturing by brazing products, cleaning and testing brazed parts, and polishing steel shanks.
• Handle production tasks such as picking, etching, tubing, labeling, kitting, and bagging.
• Assist with shipping by preparing and processing outgoing orders.
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments to maintain efficient cycle times.
• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and adjustments on machines and tools.
• Complete in-process inspection documentation and record production results in the ERP system.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies within the work area.
• Support raw materials by breaking down received pallets, stocking product, and pulling inventory.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Operate in alignment with our Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
• Jump in to assist teammates and perform other duties as needed.

YOU’LL BRING:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of decimal and metric measurements, including conversions.
• Basic math skills — addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions/decimals.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, or precision scales preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar management systems a plus.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
