Chapman Collision Center is looking for an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic team, helping to restore customer vehicles to like-new condition. We are proud to be a Gold Class collision repair facility, devoted to excellence through ongoing training on the newest technologies and repair techniques. Successful candidates demonstrate impeccable workmanship with a keen eye for detail. The Painter will collaborate with Body Technicians, Paint Prep associates and Estimators, and reports to the General Manager.

Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure vehicle is ready for paint; fill depressions, straighten dents and clean components for primer and paint application
- Carefully mask and protect parts that are not to be painted
- Mix paint components properly and apply to parts in the paint booth
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets quality standards
- Clean and maintain spray equipment and other work areas
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policies
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous collision painting experience required
- Previous experience spraying Water based Glasurit
- Consistently demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and precise workmanship
- Strong time management skills to meet production goals
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Hours and Work Environment
The Collision Center is open Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm. We ask that all applicants have open availability during our business hours. Our technicians enjoy an indoor, air-conditioned shop.
