Job Description Summary

The Cash Support Analyst will play a vital role in optimizing the cash reconciliation process.  This position is responsible for analyzing and managing various aspects of the cash process, including banking, reconciliation, copies, sorts, and electronically files documents related to cash activities, and other matters. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a deep understanding of cash and clerical duties.     

 

Qualifications:  

  • Desired one year experience in cash revenue cycle within the healthcare industry, preferably in infusion.  
  • Prior cash handling experiences preferred.

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.   

  • Knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel is highly desired. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT and revenue management software.  
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Not required but desired experience with CPR+, Caretend, Weinfuse, HCN360. 
  • The ability to use logic as a problem-solving skill, and able to recognize trends to make decisions to improve business.   

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor bank deposits to maximize timely and accurate reconciliation of claims.
  • Recognize and report any issues or patterns to management as necessary. 
  • Ensure that notes are recorded within the client’s software platform in a clear, concise, and timely manner. 
  • Retrieve/ import deposits from assigned bank accounts
  • Retrieves and posts zero-dollar explanations of benefits
  • Rename, log and upload correspondence to appropriate accounts and software
  • Complies with all internal and external policies, procedures, regulations and controls
  • Escalates production issues to his/her team lead as appropriate
  • Support Cash department staff
  • Additional duties as assigned

Working Conditions:  

  • Ability to sit 90% of the workday.  
  • Workload may occasionally require overtime hours.   
  • Workspace (remote employees)- a comfortable dedicated workspace is essential. This space must be quiet and distraction free. 
  • It is necessary to have high Speed internet.
