Job Title: General Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA

Pay Range: $75000 - $85000 / annually

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya is a locally owned Japanese-style ramen restaurant committed to authenticity and excellence. With over 19+ locations across four states, we are passionate about fostering growth for both our team and our business.

Position Overview: As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of multi-unit restaurant operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency while fostering a positive work environment for our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service standards are upheld to create a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control measures, and profitability analysis to drive financial success.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor team members to promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotions, events, and community engagement strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in restaurant management, preferably in the hospitality or food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Bilingual to Spanish or Cantonese preferred..
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • A passion for food and hospitality with a customer-centric approach.

NOTE: This position will require an initial 2-month travel assignment to Seattle, WA, after which the role will be based in San Francisco, CA.
