PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION
The Personal Lines Processor serves in a support role for the Account Managers.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process policy change requests.
- Generate and distribute surplus lines renewal applications.
- Monitor carrier websites for urgent or pending activity.
- Send payment reminders for pending cancellations.
- Maintain and update the Client Summary list.
- Complete Summaries of Insurance for renewal policies.
- Review policy expiration reports and investigate premium increases.
- Provide quotes to Account Managers as needed.
- Update agency management system with policy information.
- Generate Evidence of Insurance for all policies.
- Verify homeowner insurance coverage with mortgage companies.
- Attach returned mail/documents to client accounts and follow up on necessary changes.
- Submit and track policy change requests.
- Conduct remarketing for policy comparison purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- High level of customer service skills.
- High level of organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
