The Safety Associate plays a vital role in promoting and maintaining a culture of safety across all Trinity Solar job sites. This individual is responsible for enforcing company safety and health policies, conducting comprehensive on-site inspections, and ensuring all employees are properly trained and equipped to work safely. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily on-site safety observations to verify adherence to company and OSHA standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Prepare detailed monthly safety observation and audit reports, documenting findings, corrective actions, and improvements.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and toolbox talks with field teams to reinforce best practices and address any emerging safety concerns.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, complete OSHA 301 reports, and develop follow-up corrective action plans and refresher training as needed.
• Perform weekly warehouse safety audits and periodic fall protection inspections to maintain compliance and ensure a safe work environment.
• Deliver hands-on safety and PPE training to all new field hires, ensuring understanding of fall protection systems, equipment use, and jobsite protocols.
• Assist in addressing on-site emergencies, including injuries or property damage, coordinating with emergency personnel and internal teams as necessary.
• Travel to other regions as needed to support multi-state safety audits and inspections, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and compliance company-wide.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant safety experience, preferably in construction or renewable energy industries. Supervisory or field safety leadership experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; additional safety-related training or credentials are a plus.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence others through a positive and professional approach.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE standards, and fall protection requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be comfortable with periodic travel.
