AV Technology Project Manager at Open Positions

About the role

As an AV Project Manager at CS Erickson, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and successful execution of audiovisual (AV) projects. You will be responsible for overseeing AV installations, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards. Your expertise in AV systems, project management, and team leadership will be instrumental in delivering exceptional AV solutions to our clients.

What you'll do

• Develop comprehensive project plans for AV installations, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and allocate resources, including skilled AV technicians and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure financial success.
• Ensure that all AV installations meet industry standards and client expectations for quality and performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns.
• Lead, motivate, and provide guidance to AV project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, preventing delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
• Project Closure: Ensure the successful completion of AV projects, including final inspections, client handover, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or related field preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• PMP certification or relevant project management certification is a plus.
