Do you love working with kids and creating experiences that are fun, meaningful, and safe? Join YSSas a Kids Club Site Coordinator and lead our after-school and vacation programs at Gilbert Elementary. You’ll help kids build confidence, learn new skills, and have a blast while creating a supportive environment where they feel valued every day. What you'll do:
Plan and run engaging activities during school days, in-service days, and school breaks (winter, spring, and summer).
Develop creative, themed programs that inspire learning, teamwork, and fun.
Lead and support site staff, helping with behavior guidance, teaching, and day-to-day operations.
Supervise kids, track attendance, and ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures.
Prepare and serve healthy snacks and meals.
Keep accurate records and complete required paperwork.

MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications
High school diploma/equivalent + 3 years of experience in child care, elementary/middle school, or child development
OR
Associate’s or higher degree + 1 year of experience in the above settings
SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications
Degree in early childhood, child development, or elementary education
CPR/First Aid, Universal Precautions, and Mandatory Reporter training (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
Experience supervising staff
Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
Strong communication, observation, and organizational skills
Calm, patient, and adaptable under pressure
Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping kids thrive
