The Supply Chain Administrator is involved in an array of projects and multiple tasks related to Resource Management and Purchasing Services.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Support
Performs various tasks to support Contract Management team. This includes analytical functions; supporting pharmaceutical rebate distribution, custom report creation, participate in external/internal meetings as needed, review Group Purchasing Organization contract data and communicate with Contract team, maintains and updates various departmental documents such as procedure manuals, disaster plan, etc.
Customer Service
Responds to questions and requests from departments and suppliers. Includes requests for credit applications, retransmission of purchase orders, etc.
Major emphasis on Marketplace Help Desk type services.
Special Projects
These are not routine and could vary by administrator: Budget preparation assistance; Web Site Updates; contribution to newsletter creation and distribution; supplier selection justification collection and scanning to repository, maintain construction library documentation, support departmental check receipt process to comply with policy, etc..
Marketplace and Workday Functions
- Manage vendor file set up and maintenance with coordination from Accounts Payable to insure university policy is followed; oversee commodity level contract compliance; manage ship-to code requests and maintenance, troubleshoot system errors working closely with IT Team; technology fee monitoring and working with suppliers for timely receipt, participate in review and implementation of new Marketplace releases, and process any special PO requests, etc.
Document Reviews
Reviews directed purchase and check request documents for approval as appropriate.
Reports
Prepares and/or reviews various report requirements, ie Cost Savings Report, Spend Analysis Reports, Contract for Review Reports, Revenue Tracking, Grant Spend Data review and report submission to Federal Agencies; etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.

$23.37 - $36.19 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
