Work Flexibility:
Hybrid: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Portage, MI and be able to work onsite several times per week.
What You Will Do
- Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) tied to divisional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Execute complex change control processes within our Quality System using onePLM.
- Identify and resolve PLM-related challenges, applying engineering knowledge to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Mentor teams and stakeholders through change workflows, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and process adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Marketing to ensure project success.
- Lead integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, aligning acquired data and documentation with Stryker systems.
- Drive process improvement initiatives focused on workload balancing, rework reduction, and standardization.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- 0+ years of experience in quality and/or engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in divisional project work, M&A integrations, or process improvement
- Experience as an Engineer, Designer, or Project Manager
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Familiarity with PLM systems such as Windchill, OnePLM, or Teamcenter
- General understanding of engineering principles
- Proficiency in managing product and process documentation
