SUMMARYThe Associate IT Business Analyst is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the functional areas of application packages. They are assigned to teams within an assigned business unit and utilize various client/server platforms with direction and mentoring assistance. Individuals learn by assisting in collaboration with company customers, staff, IT and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. They will learn by assisting with the assessment of business objectives and design business processes in such a way that they may be effectively modeled, configured and measured within the package application environment. Individuals learn by assisting with the communication of the application package capabilities and possibilities to designated functional areas, while seeking ways to collaborate with IT members to facilitate transition to and support of the application package.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESLearn by assisting in business analysis and process design in one functional area (finance, accounting, sales, engineering, manufacturing, etc.) within the enterprise in the analysis, and redesign of application package functions and processesLearn by assisting in the formulation of and definition of application scope and objectives and help devise/modify procedures to solve low complexity business problemsLearn by assisting in communicating application package capabilities/possibilities within one functional area with low complexity of requirementsParticipate in developing business relationships with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support effortsDevelop and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levelsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Business Administration with an emphasis in a specific functional area or equivalent work experience and technical training1-3 years of experience in relevant functional area, limited experience with application package modules, and one package implementationCOMPENSATION Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $68,480 to $102,720.
