Position Overview
Promesa Academy is seeking a passionate and dynamic Project-Based Learning (PBL) Intervention & Facilitator  to join our K–5 campus. This individual will design and facilitate learning experiences that integrate core content areas through authentic, real-world projects. The PBL Teacher will collaborate with grade-level teams to ensure that learning is rigorous, student-centered, and aligned with state standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement interdisciplinary, standards-based projects that connect classroom learning to real-world contexts.
Foster a student-centered classroom culture that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and creativity.
Integrate social-emotional learning and culturally relevant teaching practices into project design and instruction.
Use data and formative assessments to differentiate instruction and meet diverse student needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support whole-school initiatives.
Communicate regularly with families about student progress and project outcomes.
Participate in professional development and contribute to the ongoing growth of Promesa’s PBL model.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Demonstrated experience or interest in project-based learning, experiential education, or inquiry-based instruction

Preferred:
Experience teaching in an elementary setting (K–5)
Knowledge of EL Education, High Tech High, or Buck Institute PBL frameworks
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
