Job Description
Heritage is expanding our Business Development department and we are looking for customer-focused, motivated professionals to join our growing team!
In our fast paced environment, as a Business Development Coordinator (BDC Representative), you will be the first point of contact for our potential customers—managing online and phone inquiries, nurturing leads, booking showroom appointments, and supporting our sales team. You’ll play a vital role in creating exceptional customer experiences and driving both new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to all inbound sales calls and internet leads promptly and professionally.
- Schedule appointments with potential customers for the sales team.
- Follow up with leads and "no-show" appointments to maximize conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up activities in the CRM.
- Support online customers and answer inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, text).
- Stay informed about inventory, product updates, promotions, and vehicle features.
- Ensure consistent communication and follow-up to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Collaborate with the sales and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Meet or exceed individual and team goals for appointments, calls, and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of call center or customer service experience (automotive industry a plus).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate using phone, email, and text.
- Intermediate computer skills; able to quickly learn and navigate web-based systems.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills; listen to customers in detail, communicate those details effectively, and tailor responses effectively
- High level of reliability, motivation, and work ethic.
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to take initiative.
- Proven ability to hit call and follow-up volume targets.
- Coachable, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
