Description


We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Clinician to provide both direct patient care and clinical leadership within our behavioral health program. In this dual role, you’ll guide patients through their recovery journey while also mentoring and supporting fellow clinicians to ensure the highest standards of care. You’ll play a key role in shaping treatment approaches, promoting evidence-based practices, and maintaining program integrity for individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment and recovery plans

  • Deliver individual, group, and crisis counseling using evidence-based modalities (CBT, MI, Matrix Model)

  • Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective patient outcomes

  • Collaborate with medical staff, care coordinators, and recovery specialists to ensure cohesive, integrated care

  • Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans in compliance with program and regulatory standards

  • Supervise and mentor licensed clinicians, providing regular case consultation, performance feedback, and chart review

  • Oversee the clinical and educational operation of the substance use disorder service, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory guidelines

  • Support staff development and training to promote evidence-based treatment and clinical excellence

  • Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives to enhance program outcomes

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Addictions, Mental Health, or Social Work

  • Independent clinical licensure (LADC I, LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC required)

  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervised experience in substance use disorder counseling

  • At least one (1) year of clinical supervisory or leadership experience

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
