PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To organize, inventory, process, and distribute parts and electronic materials.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification:
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Texas driver's license
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet creation and organization
Organized and detailed oriented and the ability to work within a high-pressure environment
A basic understanding of technology and computer functions
Effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Flexibility In work schedule
EXPERIENCE:
Previous warehouse experience
Certification or experience operating a forklift
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Efficiently organize and maintain an inventory of parts and electronic materials.
Maintain detailed records and documentation of all technology assets, including computers, tablets, projectors, and software licenses. Ensure accurate asset tracking and provide regular reports to the district administration.
Process and distribute parts and electronic materials, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Handle all shipments, including loading and unloading items according to delivery schedules.
Develop and oversee a technology recycling and disposal program to ensure environmentally responsible and secure disposal of obsolete equipment and e-waste.
Responsible for adding asset tags to new electronic equipment and entering relevant information into the asset management database.
Collaborate with other technicians within the warehouse to ensure seamless operations.
Work closely with the Tech Service Purchasing Agent to identify sources, availability, pricing, and oversee shipping and receiving of parts, equipment, and supplies required for repairs.
Detect and resolve any issues related to incorrect orders, invoices, or shipments.
Conduct periodic audits of technology assets to verify their physical existence, condition, and compliance with district policies and procedures.
Operate all tools and equipment in accordance with safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Re-order inventory as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
Stay current with advancements in educational technology and asset management best practices through ongoing professional development and training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
