Adjunct faculty members are responsible fordelivering curriculum, providing instruction, and performing student learningassessment.  The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability toeffectively use instructional and classroom technology to enhance teaching andlearning.  Courses at Waubonsee Community College may be offered invarious delivery modes including, but not limited to, face-to-face,asynchronous online, synchronous online, hybrid, and flex.

EGR101- Engineering Graphics- WGL120, Sugar Grove- 8am - 9:40am M/W
EGR101- Engineering Graphics- 8am - 9:40am T/TR

Essential functions of this position include, but are not limitedto:  

Designing syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meetthe established course description as well as program, course, and collegelearning outcomes and/or objectives while addressing each student’s needs asdiverse learners.

Meetingall college deadlines for submission of attendance, grades and data collectionfor assessment of student learning.

Incorporatinglearning-centered principles and concepts while motivating students to activelyparticipate in their educational experiences.  

Integratinginstructional and classroom technology (if applicable) appropriately andeffectively to deliver and enhance teaching and learning.

Workingcollaboratively with professional colleagues to serve the needs of students andthe community.  

Modelingprofessionalism with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonalskills.  

Minimum Experience

Master'sdegree in Engineering or related field with 18 graduate hours in Engineering.

PreferredExperience:
TeachingCAD, Commercial Architecture, or a related field, at a Community College orVocational/Technical institution.

Teachingtraditionally underserved populations.  

Incorporatingtechnology and multimedia applications into the teaching and learning process.

UtilizingLearning Management Systems.

Teaching in multiple modalities.
