Seminaries & Institutes of Religion (S&I) is a global education program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that helps youth and young adults deepen their understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ and strengthen their personal relationship with Him. Through daily or weekly gospel instruction, students are invited to study the scriptures, apply gospel principles, and build personal testimonies in spiritually uplifting environments. S&I supports students in preparing for missions, temple covenants, and lifelong discipleship. In addition to teaching, S&I professionals play a vital role in keeping the logistics and operations running smoothly, ensuring that curriculum, communication, and administrative systems function effectively to support gospel learning worldwide. 

We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager with exceptional organizational skills, strategic planning experience, and strong data analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint who will lead cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic outcomes. This role is pivotal in managing complex projects, streamlining information systems, and delivering results through collaboration, precision, and compelling communication. 

Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines 

    • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless execution and communication across teams and stakeholders 

    • Develop and maintain organized systems for tracking documents, data, and project information for quick access and clarity 

    • Create and manage detailed project timelines, proactively identifying risks and adjusting plans as needed 

    • Locate and synthesize data quickly to support decision-making, reporting, and stakeholder updates 

    • Deliver narrative-driven presentations using PowerPoint that clearly communicate project status, insights, and strategic recommendations 

    • Support strategic planning efforts and contribute to long-term operational improvements 

    • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience 

  • 3-5 years of experience managing projects from start to finish 

  • Strong experience in strategic planning and execution 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial tracking), PowerPoint, Word, and Teams 

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead across teams 

  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the assertiveness to drive initiatives forward independently 

  • Skilled in receiving direct feedback from stakeholders and making necessary adjustments 

Preferred Certifications 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in project Management (CAPM)
