Paysign is looking for a curious and analytical QA Tester to join our development team. You'll be the guardian of quality, working closely with developers to ensure our products are reliable, intuitive, and resilient. We need someone who doesn't just follow test scripts—we want a creative problem-solver who actively looks for ways to break things and uncover edge cases that others miss.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
Design and execute comprehensive test plans that go beyond happy paths to identify edge cases, boundary conditions, and unexpected user behaviors
Write detailed, reproducible bug reports with clear steps, technical context, and impact assessment to help developers quickly understand and resolve issues
Perform exploratory testing to discover issues that automated tests and developers might overlook Collaborate with developers throughout the development cycle to understand features, provide early feedback, and advocate for quality
Think creatively about different user personas, environments, and scenarios to ensure our product works for everyone
Identify patterns in bugs and help trace issues to their root causes
Help establish and improve QA processes and best practices
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail—you notice what others miss
Excellent technical communication skills, especially in writing clear bug reports and documentation Understanding of software development concepts and the development lifecycle
Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, or similar)
Proficiency with browser developer tools and testing techniques
SQL knowledge for database validation
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, curl)
Ability to think from multiple perspectives and consider diverse user needs
Nice to Have:
Basic coding skills in any language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience with performance or security testing
