Maintenance and Operations Lead at Auburn Union School District

EDUCATION EXCELLENCE SINCE 1852 Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn, located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra. AUSD educates approximately 1,500 students in preschool through eighth grade at three TK-8 schools (Auburn Elementary, Skyridge Elementary and E.V. Cain School) At our schools, we stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision. The maintenance and operations lead will plan, organize, and personally participate in the maintenance, repair and remodeling of the district facilities, grounds and equipment. The District is comprised of three active schools (TK-8) and three other facilities including our District Office. The lead will report directly to the MOT Director, assist in assigning work orders, and assure completion of projects.

Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: demonstrated specialized background in HVAC, computerized energy management systems, two years of work experience in performing grounds maintenance or landscape work in industry or commercial organizations, including experience in providing lead direction for other staff.
