What You’ll Do
Application Developers collaborate with internal engineering teams and external clients to design and implement creative solutions within our existing software suite which streamline complex workflows that enhance our client’s ability to execute their jobs efficiently and manage their portfolios responsibly. The focus of the Application Developer role is to analyze our client’s needs, design customized solutions and then manage their implementation. We maintain our reputation for excellence because of the customized solutions we consistently provide for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Learn and become proficient with Investortools’ industry-leading software with areas of focus on content, controls, information architecture and technical support.
- Study and be willing to learn the world of fixed-income investments.
- Collaborate with internal development teams, software engineers and our clients throughout the implementation of new features.
- Analyze complex problems and build effective solutions.
- Write clear project proposals that accurately document client needs.
- Develop and deliver customized projects.
- Integrate our software into clients’ other systems and business processes.
- Continual focus on product improvements, based on what was learned from client customization.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or similar fields.
- Desire to learn and support a robust software suite.
- Willingness to learn the complex municipal and corporate bond market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, manage projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality results
- Able to work collaboratively across disciplines with excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
