Advisory & Strategic Excellence Director

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional leader to head our Advisory, Insights, Excellence function. This strategic leadership role requires an exceptional individual who will lead a high-performing team responsible for data-driven insights, operational excellence, and sustainability initiatives while delivering transformational outcomes for our banking client.

This role offers the opportunity to lead transformational change for a major banking client while building and developing a world-class team across multiple disciplines. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader who combines deep technical expertise with exceptional people leadership skills.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across advisory, insights and excellence functions

  • Provide strategic direction and vision to drive long-term client success and capability building

  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all team activities

  • Manage complex, geographically dispersed teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

 

Advisory Excellence

  • Deliver strategic guidance and support to help the Bank achieve long-term objectives and navigate complex challenges

  • Leverage deep industry expertise to provide valuable insights and recommendations that drive business growth

  • Develop and implement future-focused strategies based on market trends and best practices

  • Champion technology integration and digital FM solutions to streamline processes and enhance service delivery

Data & Insights Leadership

  • Transform data collection into actionable intelligence that drives strategic decision-making and performance optimization

  • Lead advanced data analysis initiatives, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights

  • Oversee the development of performance measurement frameworks and KPI tracking systems

  • Drive innovation through data-driven insights, identifying opportunities for new services and cost-effective solutions

  • Establish and maintain relationships with best-in-class insights providers

 

Operational Excellence

  • Deliver exceptional standards across all operational areas, benchmarked against 5-star experience criteria

  • Lead key account initiatives including House of Standard Chartered, Account Blueprint, Portfolio Tiering, and Stakeholder Mapping

  • Provide hands-on leadership for project implementation and account improvements

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all account teams and JLL functions

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related technical field (degree level or above)

  • Advanced qualifications and experience in  data analytics, or strategic management preferred

 

Professional Experience

  • Proven track record in facilities management, engineering, soft services, FM technology, or sustainability

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex teams across multiple geographies

  • Strong background in client relationship management with exceptional client focus

  • Experience in fast-paced environments with ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines

 

Technical Competencies

  • Outstanding analytical ability with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent numerical, commercial, and financial acumen

  • Deep understanding of energy, water, and waste conservation measures

  • Experience with utility data benchmarking and analysis for sustainability performance

  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver results under pressure
