As part of HPE’s Living Progress team, you will gain exposure to climate strategy, regulatory sustainability reporting, and sustainability data governance. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance HPE’s sustainability disclosures and drive efficiency in our reporting processes.

  • Manage the preparation of HPE’s CDP submission, ensuring accurate and complete responses.
  • Identify and address gaps from the prior CDP submission, incorporating improvements into the response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and document sustainability data, ensuring consistency across disclosures.
  • Support general team operations and sustainability initiatives, providing exposure to a wide range of corporate sustainability functions.
  • Document and refine reporting processes, contributing to long-term improvements in HPE’s sustainability disclosures.
  • Conduct benchmarking and research to enhance HPE’s CDP responses and overall sustainability reporting strategy.

Education & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, business analytics, data science, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Excel, data management, or sustainability reporting platforms (Workiva experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in corporate sustainability, sustainability reporting, and climate-related disclosures.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience with corporate sustainability reporting and sustainability data management.
  • Exposure to CDP, sustainability reporting frameworks, and regulatory trends in a leading technology company.
  • Experience leading a Workiva implementation for sustainability reporting.
  • Broad experience supporting a corporate sustainability team, with opportunities to learn about climate strategy, regulatory reporting, and data governance.

This internship is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in sustainability reporting, data management, and process optimization, while making a tangible impact on HPE’s environmental disclosures.
