Summary:
The Program Manager primary responsibility is the management of the activities in the School Impact Program and its components. The Program Manager will assist with the hiring, training and will directly supervise program staff. The Program Manager will be responsible for providing direct support service for refugee children and their families to promote effective integration and education and successful transition to the public school systems. The Program Manager will assist the Program Director in the direct oversight and delegation of educational activities and ensuring program compliance with all applicable professional and agency standards and funding requirements. The Program Manager will contribute to the coordinating of staff and volunteers, and the daily operations of the program. They will also serve as a liaison between CCAOSA, local school districts, and the refugee families. The Program Manager will also assist and lead in the design of summer program and its activities.
Position Responsibilities:
· *Organizes and assist with carrying out daily RSI services and activities at multiple educational sites, including: afterschool tutoring, in-school tutoring, parent education services and event planning and hosting.
· *Lead case file creation for newly enrolled clients and monitors files on a monthly basis, to ensure they are maintained throughout clients’ tenures in the program. This includes, assistance with program enrollment & registration, and creating/administer individualized services plans according to the client’s needs.
· *This position is responsible for recruitment, hiring and training of all staff under their supervision and will make recommendations for termination of employees.
· *Able to monitor, input, and retrieve data from multiple databases, to keep track of all client information and program goals. Ensures accuracy of data in any internal & external databases.
· *Stays well versed, knowledgeable and up to date with updates/changes, program reporting, due dates, grant requirements, policies and compliances, and able to reference the provider manual for guidance.
· *Assists the Program Director in hiring and training of staff to be informed and up to date with grant requirements, procedures, and any updates from funding source.
· *Supervise program staff, averaging about (8) employees. Will include, signing off on staff timesheets and approving timecards, mileage, conducting monthly supportive supervisions, time-off approvals and annual staff evaluations. Work with staff to develop personal goals and evaluate progress in reaching those goals.
· Will work with the director to develop program goals, including logic models and implement PQI plans to monitor and ensure the delivery of services is consistent with best practices and agency policies.
· Will submit reimbursements for staff and program expenses.
· Perform general office management. Help ensure staff have a safe & proper working environment at all times.
· Conduct staff trainings on a regular basis and lead weekly team meetings.
· Must complete all required professional development assigned in a timely manner.

· Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
· Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
· Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in social services or education or business-related field.
- OR Experience
- Minimum of (1) years working in a management role that demonstrates the ability to supervise with sensitivity and efficiently lead staff.
- Minimum of (1) years working in a social service environment that demonstrates a sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations is preferred, but not required.
- License and Credentials
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Must have clean driving record
- Ability to operate an agency 12 passenger van on an as needed basis for program activities and events.
- Must be 21 years of age and adhere to the CCAOSA policy, which will not allow anyone under the age of 21 to operate an agency vehicle.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in working in a social service environment that demonstrates a sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations is preferred.
- Experience with personal computer, various computer software, email and Microsoft Works, specifically Excel.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.
- Must have good written and verbal skills.
- Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain appropriate ethical boundaries and professional client relationship.
- Flexibility to respond to the needs of a client population that changes daily.
- Ability to teach and present to small and large groups and assess student progress.
- Knowledge of client case file documentation and record keeping procedures.
- Ability to drive and maintain reliable personal transportation.
- Able to drive a 12 passenger vehicle when necessary.
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
