The Marketing Co-op will support the Manulife Global High Net Worth (GHNW) business — a niche, globally distributed segment serving affluent clients (millionaires and billionaires) through a business-to-business (B2B) model. Unlike traditional retail marketing, this team partners with distributors across markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bermuda, promoting high-value insurance solutions tailored for global wealth clientele.

The co-op will assist with marketing execution, content creation, and communication strategy across multiple regions and time zones. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to international markets, global product positioning, and luxury-segment marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day marketing operations and assist in producing approximately 140 communications per year (emails, flyers, brochures, and sales strategy materials).

  • Contribute to website updates and collateral refreshes following the October website launch.

  • Assist in developing distributor-facing content that aligns with business objectives and messaging tone.

  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across countries (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Bermuda).

  • Participate in building and maintaining the Viva Engage/Yammer internal community, helping strengthen team connectivity across continents.

Expected Learning Outcomes

  • Gain hands-on experience in global marketing within a high-net-worth financial services environment.

  • Develop skills in strategic communication, UI/UX thinking, and customer experience design.

  • Learn to operate in a fast-paced, lean team setting where responsibilities expand as capability grows.

  • Exposure to marketing automation, internal communication tools, and process improvement during a period of rapid business expansion.
