Morse Street School is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Second Grade Teacher to serve as a long-term substitute and join our Pre-K-2 school community. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of early literacy, numeracy and social emotional development at the primary level. Experience with Differentiated Reading, Writing and Math instruction and Responsive Classroom practices is desired. Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential. This position will run from approximately the end of January through the end of April.
Requirements:
Must hold a valid 020- General Elementary or 029- Early Elementary certification from ME Dept. of Education.
A satisfactory background check.
Position remains open until a suitable candidate is found.
