DESCRIPTION

The Vice President of Franchise Sales will lead franchise sales strategy, initiatives and provide team leadership for the five person franchise sales team. Scooter’s Coffee currently includes over 215 locations, with planned expansion of over 800 new locations in the next 5 – 7 years. This role will lead franchise sales through existing franchisee growth and new franchisee sales of single-unit and multi-unit agreements.  The VP will be responsible for partnering with the Chief Development Officer in creating a strategic plan that supports the rapid expansion of Scooter’s Coffee throughout the central United States. As a key member of our leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, this role will play a critical role in our strategic growth strategy.


The Vice President of Franchise Sales will have ultimate responsibility for the day-to -day operations of franchise sales, including marketing, lead generation, qualification, Be Amazing Days (discovery days), executive presentation, final agreements and transition to real estate and construction. This role has a critical impact to overall Company revenue and profitability and will be a key driver in the continued development and growth of Scooter’s Coffee.


LOCATION

This role will be based out of Scooter’s Coffee headquarters in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Omaha, NE if they do not currently reside there.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the strategic vision for the Franchise Sales teams long-term success & growth
  • Lead day-to-day functions of Franchise Sales team
  • Develop stretch goals for team including KPI’s and metrics
  • Partner with Legal on ongoing FDD updates and compliance
  • Provide leadership and coaching to grow and develop leaders within the team
  • Set and model standards of service that focus on customer care
  • Collaborate with functional areas throughout the company including finance, legal, real estate and construction, operations and human resources.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years’ experience in franchise sales
  • 8+ years’ experience in a strategic, senior leadership role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality or a related field
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Certification preferred
  • Franchise Sales experience in food/beverage/QSR industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to create positive, efficient teams through mentorship, coaching and feedback
  • Demonstrated experience leading fast paced growth and development
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Strong communication skills within all levels of an organization including communication with C-Suite, vendors, franchisees and team
  • Demonstrated success in franchise sales and brand growth
  • This position is based at Scooter’s Coffee Headquarters in Omaha, NE
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel up to 25% of time
