Seasonal CDL Driver - 2nd Shift at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC

Job Summary: 

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles and trailers to transport materials between various locations. This role plays a key part in maintaining an efficient and organized yard, while also supporting vehicle cleanliness, fueling, and inspections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Maneuver vehicles and containers around the facility and off-site locations 

• Identify appropriate placement for vehicles and containers 

• Assist other CDL drivers as needed to ensure safe and efficient operations 

• Clean and refuel vehicles and trailers as required 

• Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance needs and report issues 

• Maintain safety, order, and clear communication within the yard and with team members 

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required 

• Current CDL Class A license required 

• Completion of CDL training program 

• 6 months of CDL driving experience preferred 

• Strong communication skills preferred
