The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events, and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 26th, 2026 - July 31st, 2026).

Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks, providing hands-on experience and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Family’s culture, including our core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success, and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization.

In our Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group, we drive P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analyses, partner with various business units and corporate functions, create Power BI visualizations for actionable insights, and cultivate grassroots AI capabilities to streamline processes.

We're seeking an undergraduate intern to bolster our agility, with contributions that directly align with team goals of precision, efficiency, and forward-thinking analysis—ultimately supporting organizational priorities like sustainable growth, cost optimization, and technological leadership.

The intern's engagement in financial modeling will continue to improve accuracy and expedite routine tasks like forecast updates and other financial reporting, ensuring our deliverables inform timely decisions, such as budget allocations across business units.

By crafting Power BI dashboards, the intern will transform data into compelling narratives, improving stakeholder engagement and key metrics visibility—essential to our objective of fostering data literacy across the organization and enhancing cross-departmental collaboration for better business outcomes.

On the AI front, prototyping automation tools will test innovative ideas, like AI-enhanced forecasting, aligning with our innovation push and broader goals of digital transformation. This would drive efficiency gains in analytics, positioning us as an agile leader in finance while building internal AI expertise through hands-on idea-sharing.

In essence, the intern's role will amplify our team's output, provide mentorship opportunities for emerging talent, and reinforce our commitment to data-powered strategies that deliver long-term value and competitive advantage.
