General Description:
Under general supervision, responsible for the distribution of linen and for assuring that supplies are available in an appropriate condition when needed by a user department.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Responsible for maintaining par levels of linen by managing linen items to meet stock requirements.
- Ensures accuracy of items ordered versus items received in department.
- Rotates and inspects linen for compromises in quality.
- Ensures that labels are accurate, legible, and exist on all carts and shelves for linen.
- Closely monitors cart inventory levels, pulling excess linen from returning carts.
- Makes needed cart and shelf revisions according to procedure.
- Supervises linen technologist assigned to facility.
- Responsible for timely and accurate processing operations of linen room.
General Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 5 years of experience as a linen technician required.
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: None required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Must have basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
- Must have good communication skills for establishing effective working relationships with staff and customers.
