POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Agile Delivery Manager

Department: Information Technology

Classification: Exempt

Reports To: Director, Software Engineering

Installation Made Easy (“IME”) provides software and process management that enable retailers and contractors to offer installed home improvements to homeowners in a convenient, consistent, and affordable manner. IME senior management has over 100 years of retail management and home improvement industry experience.

The Agile Delivery Manager (ADM) position is mid-level and responsible for being a servant-leader who empowers teams to deliver value efficiently and adaptively. This role bridges business analysis and project management, facilitating agile delivery for both software and non-software initiatives. The ADM is responsible for fostering collaboration, removing impediments, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

An ideal candidate for this role will be able to empower teams, facilitate agile delivery, and champion communication. The candidate must be able to work independently in a remote environment.

Essential Functions

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure productive, focused sessions.

• Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve obstacles—technical, organizational, or interpersonal—that hinder team progress.

• Champion Communication: Serve as the central point of contact between the team and stakeholders, providing transparent updates on progress and status.

• Performance Tracking: Use agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) to monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Coaching and Mentoring: Guide the team in adopting and executing agile principles, fostering self-organization and accountability.

• Business Analysis: Work with Product Management to capture and translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.

• Project Coordination: Align workstreams across diverse projects, ensuring clarity and accountability.

• Demonstrate Analysis Skills: Apply analytical thinking to ensure initiatives deliver tangible value.

• Servant Leadership: Empower teams, remove blockers, and strengthen collaboration.

• Release Management Delivery Skills: Oversee and coordinate release planning, execution, and delivery to ensure smooth deployment of project deliverables.

• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in agile delivery, or equivalent roles.

• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and working in agile environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to removing impediments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in using agile metrics and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).

• Ability to capture business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

• Demonstrated analytical skills.

• Proven ability to foster collaboration and team empowerment.

• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams or projects.

• Experience in release management, including planning, coordination, and delivery of releases.

• Certifications: PMP or equivalent agile certification (ICP-APM, CSM, etc.).

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
