Handyman na 1147-HR TALENT-ABM INDUSTRIES INCORPORATED

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to support our facilities team in maintaining a clean, safe, and fully functioning environment. This role is light maintenance and repair work to ensure that all areas of the facility meet cleanliness and safety standards.

Pay: $30.50/hr  

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:

Handyman/Maintenance Duties:

• Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, door handles, and other fixtures.
• Report larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team or supervisor.
• Assist with furniture moves, equipment setup, and basic repairs as needed.

Additional Duties:

• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures.
• Provide support during special events or seasonal cleaning projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in maintenance roles.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and general building repair.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.

Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must be able to read write and communicate both English.
