On a daily basis, the ideal candidate will have junior to mid-level skills to provide the following support:
- Handle customer support calls and issues in a Tier 1 / Tier 2 environment setting.
- Log into using a Domain Controller or Remote Server tool, navigating the Active Directory Interface managing user and group system access issues.
- Provide support using your understanding of Windows, some Linux, some VMWare / Hyper-V and or Remote Desktop.
- Have experience setting up, repairing basic computer equipment to include installing new or replacement of computer drives and memory.
- Ability to learn the understand and implementation of SQL Server Profiler (monitoring) and Agent (automation) tools.
- Ability to learn the setup and execution of scripts to perform basic queries of data or automation of system upgrades and backups.
- Ability to support direct or remote interface with customers on technical needs.
Clearly communicates technical solutions with stakeholders and team members.
- Possess an active Top-Secret clearance required with the willingness to take an agency CI polygraph when requested.
- Have a High School Diploma (HS) and 8+ years experience, Associates Degree (AS) and 6+ years experience, Bachelors’ Degree (BS) and 3+ years experience or a Masters’ Degree (MS) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Possess effective communications skills and able to effectively brief audiences.
- Have the ability to organize work so assignments are completed in a timely manner, perform analysis and quickly resolve issues, multi-task, and or take direction from lead team members.
