Automotive Service Porter at Capital CDJR of Indian Trail

Capital CDJR of Indian Trail is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Service Porter to join our busy service team! The Service Porter plays a key role in keeping our service department running smoothly — moving vehicles efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless experience from drop-off to pick-up.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and assist with vehicle drop-off and pick-up in a friendly, professional manner.
• Move vehicles safely between service lanes, technician bays, and parking areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer waiting areas.
• Ensure vehicles are parked properly and returned promptly after service completion.
• Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle flow and coordination.
• Conduct light vehicle cleaning or preparation as needed before delivery.
• Perform regular inspections of the service area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Support the dealership team with other tasks as assigned.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Prior experience as a porter, valet, or in an automotive service environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and moving vehicles throughout the day.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings.
