What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are a new and unique option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily both at our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours and as needed in their home. Never heard of us before. That’s okay, we’re new to the region. We began serving the elderly in 2019 and our service model is so popular it’s growing quickly!

What does a Clinical Admin Support at PACE North do? A Clinical Admin Support ensures that healthcare services are delivered in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. This role involves coordinating and integrating services across an interdisciplinary team, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and supporting the creation and adjustment of individualized care plans. The Clinical Admin Support also manages participant grievances, facilitates team meetings, and identifies opportunities for process improvements. By ensuring adherence to compliance regulations and fostering effective communication among team members, the Clinical Admin Support plays a critical role in enhancing care quality and operational efficiency within the healthcare setting. This role has daily responsibilities in supporting reception.
Requirements
What qualifications should you bring to the table? To excel as a Clinical Admin Support, you should bring a combination of relevant education and practical experience. A post-high school education in a health-related field is preferred. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with 1 year preferred in working with frail or elderly populations. A strong understanding of healthcare terminology and familiarity with integrated care models, such as PACE, would be advantageous. Essential skills include excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities, effective judgment for decision-making, and proficiency in business software applications. Strong communication and negotiation skills are crucial for maintaining professional relationships and ensuring compliance across the team.
