This is a Part-Time, Permanent position based on a 29-hour work week with an hourly rate of $16.92. The position is non-bargaining. The individual in this position will work at the Golf Course located at One 7th Avenue North, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460.
Part-Time employees are not eligible for the City’s health and benefit plans at this time.
JOB SUMMARY:
The position will assist the Assistant golf professional with daily golf operations of the cart barn, bag drop, and bag room areas. This position reports to the Assistant professional. This position has a maximum of 29 hours per week, which can be opening or closing shifts during any day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in daily operations in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist in the management of the outside golf operations.
- Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all patrons.
- Control and manage starters tee sheet in absence of starter. Ensure guests tee off on time and keep an acceptable pace.
- Stage carts in a timely manner and assist golfers with golf bags.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
- Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
- Assist with outings and tournaments.
- Any other duty assigned by the Assistant Golf Professional, or Leisure Services Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or General education degree (GED); one experience in bookkeeping related experience and or maintenance or fiscal records or equivalent combination of education and experience.
All full-time employees are considered critical in response to emergency situations and may be deemed essential as needed depending on the situation.
Employees in this position will be required to complete the FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Certification Levels 100, 200, 700 and 800 within the first six months of employment. Certain positions may be required to attain additional ICS training as needed.
