Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Vascular Access Nurse to join our team and make a difference for our patients and our community. This position performs placement of peripherally inserted central lines (PICC) and Midlines under the order of a physician.  Performs other procedures related to PICC management including PICC removal, PICC declotting, dressing application/care and troubleshooting.  Assesses and identifies patients for whom a PICC is indicated.  Participates in performance improvement activities related to PICC practices and performs other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 0.70 Night shift. All 8 hour shifts. Every other weekend rotation. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree program in Nursing 
  • 2 years of direct patient care in a med/surg setting in acute care
  • 2 years of experience in infusion delivery
  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
  • CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Infusion RN (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certification (VA-BC)
