Child Care Provider, Family Literacy
The Milford Adult Education Program is seeking a qualified child care provider. With support from the Program Coordinator, the child care provider will provide child care services to children of parents enrolled in the Family Literacy Program.
Salary for this position is $22.50/hr. The program begins November 11, and ends in April. The Program will be meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Meadowside Elementary School.
There are no benefits associated with this position.

SUMMARY/GOAL OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for providing child care services and supervision, the Child Care Provider will support the People Family Literacy Program, so parents are able to attend program classes.
ESSENTIAL TASKS OF THE POSITION:
Plan and carry out activities required to care for children
Participate with children in play activities
Constantly monitor children’s activities and behavior
Appropriately and immediately communicate concerns or issues with program coordinator or appropriate staff member as well as parent/guardian
Perform other tasks and responsibilities associated with the Family Literacy Child Care Program, as delegated by the Program Coordinator or Director of Adult Education
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION:
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Background check required
Screening for Tuberculosis (TB) required.
