Lead with Purpose. Heal with Heart.
Join a movement transforming behavioral health care across Indian Country.
The Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) Behavioral Health Division is seeking a dually certified Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric + Family Practice) to serve within our integrated Journey to Recovery (JTR) and Outpatient Behavioral Health programs.
This is more than a clinical role — it’s an opportunity to practice whole-person medicine in a continuum that includes Detox, Residential, PHP, Crisis Stabilization, and Sober Living. You’ll help bridge medicine and culture, supporting patients on their path to recovery and wellness.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and medication management for adults in recovery.
- Deliver care using COWS, CIWA, and MAT protocols while supporting chronic disease management in SUD settings.
- Collaborate with physicians, peers, and cultural healers to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
- Integrate medical and behavioral health services to advance whole-person, community-driven healing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and clinical excellence across SRPMIC’s Behavioral Health Division.
- Dually certified NP (PMHNP + FNP/Adult) with Arizona licensure & DEA registration.
- Experienced in addiction medicine, co-occurring disorders, and integrated behavioral health.
- A compassionate leader who thrives in team-based care and believes in the power of culture, connection, and recovery.
At JTR, you’ll be part of a nationally recognized model for culturally grounded recovery—where traditional knowledge and modern medicine work side-by-side.
You’ll practice with autonomy, purpose, and impact, surrounded by a community that leads with its heart.
Connect. Support. Love. Hope.
That’s not just our tagline — it’s our way of healing.
