Anesthesiologist General Per Diem at Central Maine Health Care

Essential Duties:

• Evaluate patient health, develop an anesthesia plan
• Administer and adjust anesthetics
• Monitor vital signs and patient functions
• Manage post-operative pain while monitoring the patient during the recovery process
• Determine patient stability for discharge or transfer purposes

Education and Experience:

• BA in a science-related field, such as biology, chemistry, or pre-med
• 4 years of medical school leading to an MD or DO
• Clinical rotations in various medical specialties, including surgery, anesthesiology, and internal medicine
• 4 year Residency program in Anesthesiology
• American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Certification
• Licensed in the State of Maine
