Description

Fremont Animal Care Center is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our friendly, compassionate, and dedicated team in beautiful St. Anthony, Idaho — just a short drive from the stunning Teton Valley.

At Fremont Animal Care Center, we’re proud to serve our community by providing exceptional veterinary care with a personal touch. We’re a primarily small animal practice, with opportunities to see some large animal cases which is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of variety. Our clients are loyal, our staff is supportive, and our hospital is a place where teamwork, laughter, and quality medicine come together every day.

What makes Fremont Animal Care Center special:

  • A close-knit, supportive team that truly cares about one another and our patients.

  • The opportunity to practice high-quality small animal medicine with the sporadic large animal work (not including herd health)

  • Modern equipment and a well-trained support staff that help you focus on what you do best.

  • A community-centered practice where clients feel like family and relationships last for years.

  • A location surrounded by natural beauty — with the Teton Mountains (visible for our locations front door!), Henry’s Fork, and Yellowstone all nearby for your off-time adventures.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings compassion, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to their work.

  • Values communication and connection — with both clients and teammates.

  • Is comfortable with (or open to learning) some large animal work.

  • Wants to be part of a practice that values both excellent medicine and quality of life.

Whether you’re an experienced DVM or a recent graduate, Fremont Animal Care Center offers a supportive environment to learn, grow, and thrive.

Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Idaho
  • Comfortable with both small and large animal care
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
